Looking to surrender a pet?

A pet is a lifetime commitment but there are situations which arise which may lead you to need to place your pet in another home. Rover Patch is a small rescue with limited resources at this time but we will do all that we can to help you rehome your pet. Before you contact us, please have the following information available so we can better serve you:

~ Is your pet up to date on vaccinations? Is there any pertinent medical history we should know about? Copies of prior vet records are required upon surrender.

~ Is your pet spayed or neutered? All pets should be. Please contact the rescue if you'd like information about low-cost spay/neuter clinics in your area.

~ How does your pet react to new situations? How does he or she respond to the following: strangers, men, new people, small children, dogs, cats, small animals?

~ Why do you need to surrender your pet? There are other options we can discuss with you when you get in touch with us.
